Living and researching in the same place!
After intensive work, the Panama Institute will be open to the international research community for groups of up to 28 researchers from February 2023. Between mangroves on the river, the Caribbean sea coast and the Panamanian rainforest, researchers will be able to combine living and working in a perfectly coordinated environment. From laboratory work in the institute’s own research building to field research in untouched nature – the Panama Institute allows short distances to devote full attention to the demanding work. And the institute’s own kitchen with adjoining bar creates space for personal exchange.
